The World Bank team, with PEI support, conducted a series of institutional and technical capacity assessments for government partners. Through direct support for the design of the RAISE Program, the grant engaged three government entities: PKSF (Bangladesh’s wholesale lending agency), the Local Government Division, and the Department of Social Services. Each of them was responsible to roll out complementary productive inclusion schemes, which are now incorporated under RAISE.
